Hex Full Nut

Full hex nuts are the most common nuts and are used with bolts, set screws, and any other fasteners with machine threads. Full hex nuts are the most common mating components used with bolts or parallel thread screws. We offer full hexagon nut sizes from M2 to M48 in grade 8.8 or 10.9, available in mild steel, bright galvanized finish or grade 8 galvanized.

Use with Hex Full Nut

When used in conjunction with mating bolts, hex nuts can be used to fasten two or more parts together through compression, friction (the thread of the fastener), and slight tension on the bolt.
Washers are also often used with nuts and bolts to help distribute the load of fasteners, for spacing or to protect the surfaces of mating parts.
This metric nut is also commonly referred to as a full nut or finished hex nut and is usually secured with a wrench (wrench) or ratchet.
